Winner of our November National Grassweed Survey competition with Monsanto which involved nearly 400 farmers across the country is Oxfordshire grower, Mark Gammond.

Summarising the importance of glyphosate for his farming, he said: “I want to farm in a sustainable way and improve the soil.  The way to achieve this is via no-till and cover crops. Without glyphosate it will not be practicable to do this and we will carry on doing untold damage to our soils and their structure and polluting the environment as a consequence. Glyphosate is a critical part of my farm operation.’

Mark receives a voucher for 200 litres of the Roundup of his choice – in this case Roundup Flex through his preferred distributor, Hutchinsons.

Look out for the results of this fascinating benchmark study which we’ll be exploring in a special CPM article in the February edition.
